Academic Standing and Advancement Policy
To be in good standing and to register unconditionally, students must meet the requirements of the College Academic Standing and Advancement Policy, as well as the Program requirements.

Program Policy
In addition to the College policy, the Industrial Design Program has the following requirements:
Academic Standing
Students’ standing is determined at the end of each academic year according to the following regulations:
- Students must complete the program within five years of commencement.
- Students will be expelled from the program if they have failed the same Specific Education (concentration) course twice.
Advancement
- Students must pass all Specific Education (Industrial Design) courses in the previous term in order to register for Specific Education (Industrial Design) courses in the following term. Students who fail Specific Education (Industrial Design) courses may remain in the program and register for General Education courses.
- In order to advance to the fifth term of the program, students must have completed all but one of the term one to term four General Education courses.
A student expelled as a result of the application of this policy has the right to appeal his/her expulsion to the Academic Standing Appeals Committee.
The above conditions notwithstanding, the program coordinator may recommend an exception.
