Social Science Week – February 9-13
The Social Science Program has done it again. It has put together another exciting week of speakers, panel discussions, and activities that promise to stimulate and engage the whole community.
Have you ever contemplated about how we can create a more harmonious society or achieve personal goals? Have you ever wondered about the importance of social media, religions, the family, and culture? Have you ever pondered about the future of the job market, social inequality, and the Canadian economy? Have you ever asked yourself about the injustices faced by Aboriginals in Canada and how we can build a new relationship between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples? Have you ever asked yourself questions about the environment, human trafficking, the role of international agencies, and world conflicts? These are some of the many issues covered by speakers during five, full days of Social Science Week held from February 9 to 13.
