Joy is Resistance
鈥淛oy is Resistance鈥� is a Dawson movement and the theme of several events held this month at Dawson.
It is an inclusive call to action and a resistance to the growing narrative of queer erasure and anti-feminist rhetoric that threatens to overshadow the positive and integral contributions inherent in diversity.
A banner making event entitled 鈥淨ueer Joy and Allyship鈥� was held on March 5, the Women鈥檚 Day 鈥淐ase Clothed鈥� event happened March 6, an info table staffed by The Hive was set up on March 11 and the Allies and Angels Music Fest took place on March 12.
