Faculty Hub presents two workshops Jan. 21 and 23
Jan. 21 from 2:30 – 4 p.m.: Setting The Tone for a Successful Term is a workshop that will explore your expectations of students, and help you purposefully develop communication strategies and assignments with a view to cultivating classroom community. Each participant will have the opportunity to explore teaching models and practice them in small group activities and large group discussions.
Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.:听Deep-Dive: Foundations of College-level Teaching will ask participants听 to consider their course from a Program perspective. Participants will be given the opportunity to directly apply what is learned to their own course outlines and practices. Program documents will be provided to each pre-registered participant for a richer discussion.
