Dawson's annual Information Evening is this Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Venues are the Upper Atrium, Conrod's and 3C.1. This is a chance for prospective students to get more information about programs before the March 1 application deadline.

The risk of Canadians contracting the Novel Coronavirus is low, according to Health Canada. Most people with common coronavirus illness will recover on their own.

The 4001 de Maisonneuve entrance is closed Tuesday, Feb. 4 until 4 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 5 until 3 pm.

The parking entrance will not be affected.

Jean Nagy enjoyed a Mexican holiday with her daughter Jan. 18-25 after winning the Club Med trip at the 50th anniversary Party for Dawson Employees in September. She wanted to share her appreciation with our community:

"I was given a choice of four resorts and I decided to go to Ixtapa in Mexico.听My daughter and I enjoyed the warm waters of the Pacific and the hot temperatures. For all of you who 'volunteered' to go with me, we had a toast to your health."
