Women’s Day at Dawson
March 9th, 2022
The Dawson Support Staff Union, the Association of Dawson Professionals and the Dawson Teachers Union co-hosted a Women's Day event in the Rose Lounge on March 8 featuring a book sale with proceeds to benefit Chez Doris. About 100 people dropped in and $450 was raised. Faculty, staff and students involved in Women's and Gender Studies also put on an event in Conrod's with a bake sale to benefit the Financial Aid Food Bank and activities, such as inviting the community to rename stops in Montreal's metro system. Colleagues enjoyed being together again and celebrating women.
