Third-year Theatre students star in After Fuenteovejuna

The Professional Theatre Department at 张百乔女友裸照 is proud to present After Fuenteovejuna, adapted by the third-year students with writer Sarah Lotfi and directed by St茅phane Zarov. Originally performed in 17th-century Spain, this classic theatre includes clowning, music, dance and storytelling, with some audience interaction.
Content warnings: sexual assault, sexual violence, swearing. The show runs April 25 - May 7. Entry fee for Dawson employees and students = $5

Announcing Vernissage Season 2022!

For the first time since 2019, graduating students in the Creative and Applied Arts will be exhibiting their works at 张百乔女友裸照 during the much-anticipated Vernissage Season. The work of students in Visual Arts, Illustration, Professional Photography, Industrial Design, 3D Animation and Computer Generated Imagery, Interior Design and Graphic Design will be exhibited from late May through early June. Dates and times will be in the next D News on May 4.

Second-year Theatre students star in Chaos

Second-year students of Dawson's Professional Theatre Program are presenting Chaos by Laura Lomas, directed by Stefanie Buxton.
Chaos is a series of interconnected stories, where characters search for meaning in the modern world. British playwright Laura Lomas says, "I was thinking about how I felt as a young person and how the world felt. The word "chaos" kept springing out of that. I wanted to write something in the gesture of that Chaos, as a celebration of it. ... I didn't want it to make sense, but I did want it to feel alive - all the ways I remember feeling as a teenager."

The Cripple of Inishmaan

The second-year students of Dawson's Professional Theatre Department have been busy rehearsing for The Cripple of Inishmaan by Martin McDonagh, opening March 9.
滨苍颈蝉丑尘补补苍,听directed by Matt Enos, is a dark comedy about a small Irish town, pulled out of their daily routine when a Hollywood director comes to film a documentary.
滨苍颈蝉丑尘补补苍听plays March 9 - 12, at 8 pm. Proof of vaccination is required, and masks must be worn at all times. The show is free.
Andrew Katz contributed to new series of Blue Met audio stories

just released a series of original audio stories for kids, in English and French, that they commissioned around the theme of ecology, the environment and sustainability. Andrew Katz (Faculty, English) is the author of one of the stories. 鈥淚t was a great pleasure to have gotten the chance to write and record one of them, alongside two terrific creators for young people, and . Special thanks as well to for her invaluable voice coaching,鈥 Andrew wrote.

After Heavy Weather and The Laramie Project last semester, the second-year students of Dawson's Professional Theatre Department are back with two shows in March. The Cripple of Inishmaan by Martin McDonagh, and Chaos, by Laura Lomas.

UNMASKED: AEC Photography exhibit

Don't miss 鈥淯nmasked,鈥 an exhibition showcasing Dawson's AEC Commercial Photography聽graduates.
"Unmasked" reveals the creative results of a two-year formative process in the face of the pandemic. It is marked by resilience and captivating visuals.
The exhibition will be at the Warren G. Flowers Art Gallery from Dec. 20聽to 23 and from Jan. 4-11, 2022.
The gallery is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
