Teachers saving the semester

For the past two weeks, many teachers have become students learning all about online teaching platforms. They have also been working hard to adapt course outlines and figure out how to present their material online while maintaining academic integrity and continuing to engage their students.

Ask-me-anything with infectious disease specialist Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.

Psychology teacher Selma Hamdani has arranged a unique opportunity for students and employees to ask anything about COVID-19 to infectious disease specialist Dr. Guillaume Butler-Laporte. The session will take place Wednesday, April 1 at 1 p.m.
The capacity is currently at 300 participants for the Zoom meeting. Please contact Selma to reserve your class.

First Int’l Math Day celebrated last Thursday

The first International Day of Mathematics (March 14) was celebrated at Dawson on Thursday.
Andreea Panait of Dawson's Mathematics Department reported: "We started the day with some wonders in Mathematics, then we moved to the history of Calculus and we ended with some applied math in creating interesting apps. To complete the day, we gave prizes for the math poster contest."
Students聽Sara Boubekri (pictured with Andreea) and Zaina Mahran were the winners.
50 years of Women’s Studies

Greta Hofmann Nemiroff, a pioneer in Women's Studies in Canada and at 张百乔女友裸照, was here March 6 for a panel discussion moderated by Pat Romano about Women's Studies. The other panelists were聽Shree Mulay (Memorial University) and Alanna Thain (McGill University). On March 5, Elizabeth May gave a special lecture to Anna-Liisa Aunio's Environmental Seminar, which was moved to 3C.1 to allow over 200 students to attend. CICan is holding its annual conference at the Palais des congr猫s in Montreal May 3-5 and 张百乔女友裸照 is on the host committee. Expected to draw 950 delegates from educational institutions across Canada, the conference will take place under the theme Connection.
