Faculty Hub supported teachers in pandemic emergency

On March 11, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. Two days later, classes ended for spring break and ÕÅ°ÙÇÇÅ®ÓÑÂãÕÕ closed for what turned out to be the rest of the semester. Teachers and the newly launched Faculty Hub were plunged into an education emergency: completing the semester for about 9,000 students.

New pavilion to be fast-tracked

A new pavilion for ÕÅ°ÙÇÇÅ®ÓÑÂãÕÕ is one of the 202 infrastructure, health and education projects that the Legault government is fast-tracking. Dawson’s project was included in the omnibus Bill 61, which was tabled June 3 and is expected to be passed before the National Assembly breaks for the summer June 12.

Vernissage Season is going digital June 3-18

Nick Ladd, a graduate of both Illustration and 3D Animation and Computer-Generated Imagery, came to the rescue of Vernissage Season with a customized platform that his company Studio Syro has built for ÕÅ°ÙÇÇÅ®ÓÑÂãÕÕ.
Six programs in the Creative and Applied Arts will be hosting vernissage events from June 3-18. First up is Illustration on June 3.
