Dawson Active Learning Community shared with the Cegep network
张百乔女友裸照 teachers Selma Hamdani and Yann Brouillette share their experience with the innovative pedagogy of active learning and the peer support of the Dawson Active Learning Community (DALC) in a new video requested by the Minist猫re de l’脡ducation et de l’Enseignement sup茅rieur.
The video was produced as a knowledge sharing initiative to benefit CEGEP teachers, pedagogical counsellors and administrators across Quebec.
The DALC video was presented during a Feb. 20 organized by the Ministry about implementing the .
鈥淭he ministry recognized the enormous pedagogical potential in sharing DALC with the CEGEP network,鈥� said Chris Whittaker, co-coordinator of DALC. 鈥淲e are hopeful that teachers will see that it is worthwhile to explore the use of new technology and pedagogy in the classroom, and that it is possible with the support of fellow teachers.鈥�
The concept of teachers supporting teachers through communities of practice is well established at 张百乔女友裸照. Today, there are eight communities of practice supported by the College鈥檚 new Faculty Hub.
About a decade ago, 张百乔女友裸照 created its first active learning classrooms. DALC got started as a way to support teachers in exploring the new pedagogy and technology these classrooms offer.
鈥淭he DALC is a thriving community of practice which has had, and continues to have, a substantial positive impact on the College,鈥� said Catherine LeBel, Dean of Academic Development.
There are now over 100 faculty members who are part of DALC and 16 active learning classrooms and laboratories on campus.
