This course is designed for students who have no prior knowledge of Spanish, formal or informal. The course will develop four basic language skills: speaking, writing, listening comprehension, and reading comprehension. This course is designed for students who can communicate effectively in Spanish but need to perfect their comprehension, speaking, and writing skills. The course will help them expand and refine their knowledge of the Spanish language and the Hispanic culture through exposure to complex oral communication and written texts. The use of multimedia activities and a variety of readings/presentations will enhance the students' proficiency in Spanish and bring them closer to acquiring native-like fluency. The course is supplemented by additional learning activities in the language lab. |
