Program Policies
Academic Standing and Advancement Policy
To be in good standing and to register unconditionally, students must meet the requirements of the College Academic Standing and Advancement Policy, as well as the Program requirements.

Please refer to Bylaw 8: Concerning the Promotion of Academic Success in English or French.
Program Policy
In addition to the College Policy students must also meet the requirements of the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program.
Academic Standing
Students failing four or more Specific Education (concentration) courses in their first year will be expelled from the Program.
Expelled students have the right to appeal the expulsion to the College Academic Standing Appeals Committee.
Advancement
To advance from term four to term five students must:
- have passed all first year Specific Education(concentration) courses and
- have passed at least five Specific Education(concentration) second year courses
- have passed at least three general education courses
Students who do not meet these advancement requirements may not take term 5 Specific Education (concentration) courses and must make a request to resume studies or a request for program transfer.
In order to advance to the 6th semester, students must have passed all of the following:
- 3 English courses
- 1 French course
- 1 Physical education course
- All of the Specific Education (concentration) courses from terms one through four
The Program Coordinator may recommend an exception to Standing and Advancement decisions in extenuating circumstances.
Professional Conduct
In order to remain in good standing, students are expected to exhibit professional conduct appropriate to the Mechanical Engineering profession, and all activities associated with the program (classes, labs, field trips, etc.). Students, who exhibit inappropriate professional conduct may be removed from the program. The procedure for removing students from the program on the basis of professional conduct will be applied in accordance with the College’s Institutional Student Evaluation Policy.
Some examples of inappropriate professional conduct include:
- Malicious use of College equipment
- Refusal to follow instructions given by staff or faculty regarding the safe use of equipment and facilities both at 张百乔女友裸照 and on location
- Disregard for public and private property
- Disregard for the privacy of individuals
- Illegal copying or destruction of software and/or computer files
The expelled student retains the right to appeal the expulsion to the Academic Dean.
