Brain Awareness Week

This project aims to develop an annual Brain Awareness Week at ÕÅ°ÙÇÇÅ®ÓÑÂãÕÕ, held in conjunction with the international neuroscience community. This event is scheduled to take place from March 11 to 17, 2024. Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is an international initiative founded by the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives in 1995 (www.dana.org). It cultivates public excitement and endorsement of brain science. It promotes brain research and connects the general public and leading neuroscience researchers. Since its inception, BAW has raised awareness about neuroscience and brain health, while making accessible the most up-to-date clinical findings of the field. The multidisciplinary extracurricular activity that we are proposing is open to all Dawson students, and would allow them to connect with and learn from leading experts in the field of neuroscience through guest lecturers and panelists events.
