S.P.A.C.E. 2018-19
2018-19is a student enrichment initiative that nurtures exploration and fosters open dynamic academic discussion and collaboration, both within and beyond the classroom, and within and across the disciplines. By stimulating the wonder and excitement of self-directed exploration and discovery while offering guidance, support and mentorship as resources, S.P.A.C.E. provides students with an opportunity to explore the way their learning can continue to evolve. S.P.A.C.E. encourages participants to take their education further, beyond assessment, to continue to make new connections, between information and ideas as well as between individuals and their community, helping build a community of learners and contributing to the enrichment of the culture and community of Dawson.
Each year S.P.A.C.E. (Sciences Participating with Arts and Culture in Education) conceives a theme to stimulate thought, discussion, exploration, and collaboration, both within and beyond the classroom, and across the disciplines. The theme for 2018/2019 is Perspective(s).
