Personal Experiences of Climate Change in the Marshall Islands
Students in “Intro to Geography and the Environment” have connected with , a , to better understand the impact of climate change on his country and other low-lying islands. This project was student-initiated and includes a video Q&A session with Anej and our entire class, and ongoing communication as students work on final projects focused on the Marshall Islands. Connecting with Anej allows us to hear directly from – giving us powerful insight into the personal costs of carbon pollution and the global movement for climate action.
