Mcgill Mini Science

February 25th - April 15th, 2015

The Mini-Science Lecture Series at McGill is an annual event that covers a theme from a variety of viewpoints. This year’s theme is: To Infinity and Beyond: from neutron stars to neuroengineering. Students will have the opportunity to learn from McGill and hospital research scientists. This event is similar to the McGill Mini-Med series, however caters to a wider audience. Participation in this series expose students to an interdisciplinary approach to the discussed topics.

Dawson student feedback : I deeply enjoyed attending the talks every week. The topic of the series was fascinating to me. It was obvious that the speakers were passionate about their field of research; their visual aids kept the audience entertained. The level of organization was exceptional, from the food to the Q&A section after the presentation. Thank you for making the attendance of such an event more accessible!
