Richard Soare

Department of Geography

Richard鈥檚 current research focuses on geological landscapes of Mars. He is participating in a聽team of international planetary-scientists (funded by the Leverhulme Trust, U.K.) that will travel聽to the Parc national de la聽Vanoise in the Savoie region聽of France this past 聽summer (2014). The aim is to map (georeference)聽the location and聽distribution of various聽periglacial landforms in the聽region, and to develop聽cross-sectional profiles of these landforms by means of a ground penetrating radar.
