Fine Arts Print Party was a huge success
March 8th, 2023
The Fine Arts Department recently held a Print Party on March 4, providing Visual Arts and Studio Arts students with a fun and stress-relieving mid-semester break. The event was conducted by French Press, a Montreal-based design and screen printing studio that includes Dawson alumni. They shared insights into their journey since graduating from Dawson, which led to the formation of this creative collective.
During the event, students had the opportunity to learn about silkscreen printing and try their hand at printing French Press designs onto t-shirts and tote bags. This experience allowed students to expand their artistic skills and gain practical knowledge in the field. Overall, the Print Party was a huge success!
