The CoP’s Program
The E-Learning CoP advocates the use of the Community of Inquiry Framework (Garrisson et al., 2000). We explore the 3 different dimensions of the framework and discuss how to improve the cognitive, teaching and social dimensions when designing educational experiences. The challenges and strengths associated with computer-mediated communication are discussed and possible solutions to barriers are investigated. This is accomplished through bi-weekly discussions, presentations, small-scale individual and group work, and the development of a听 portfolio. The portfolio is developed following the implementation of an educational experience delivered via a blended learning approach.听
