B.A.S.F. Jackie Robinson Health Sciences or Nursing Scholarship

For a member of the Black Community, full-time student, having completed 3 semesters of Health Science or 5 semesters in Nursing, Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. Have satisfactory academic standing, community involvement and financial need.


Black Business & Professional Association National Scholarships

The BBPA National Scholarship Program (NSP) was established in 1986 and is dedicated to supporting and promoting the achievement of academic excellence by Black Canadian youth through an annual scholarship program. It was borne out of the need to reduce the rate at which Black students drop out of school despite their rising intellect, due to unavailability of funds.
Various awards with different criteria (some for Arts & Science, Business Admin, Social Services and many for any full-time program) are available to Black Canadian students.


Canada Post Awards for Indigenous Students

Canada Post gives grants to Indigenous Peoples who have renewed their educational learning.


CIBPA-Canadian Italian Business and Professionals Association

For Cegep students in a three year career programs leading to a Diploma of College Studies (DEC). Must be a Canadian citizen, a Québec resident, and of Italian origin.


Dialogue McGill Retention Bursary – Montérégie East

MEPEC (Montérégie East Partnership for the English-speaking Community) has partnered with Dialogue McGill to offer a bursary under the Retention program to students who reside in Montérégie East and are enrolled full-time in Health or Social Services. Students who receive these bursaries must commit to working in public health institutions or related organizations in the Montérégie East for one year for each year that they are funded.


Empowered Woman Scholarship Award

The Empowered Woman Scholarship Award sponsored by author Alvina Ryan is dedicated to empowering, supporting, and promoting the achievement and academic excellence of a female Black student. To be eligible for this award, the student must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and a bona fide resident of the Greater Montreal Area.


Hellenic Scholarships

These awards are to honour and to award students of Hellenic origin attending institutions of higher learning in Quebec who excel in their studies. Through the awarding of scholarships and honourable distinctions, the recipients are encouraged in their difficult but gratifying journey, and they become models for others who follow in their footsteps.

IndigiFund is on a mission to empower Indigenous youth age 15 to 30 needing financial assistance in the areas of sport, education, and culture.


Indspire

Indspire is a national Indigenous registered charity that invests in the education of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people for the long term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada.
There is one application for all of Indspire’s bursaries, scholarships, and awards (with a few exceptions that you’ll see below). You only need to complete the application once to be considered for all applicable bursaries, scholarships, and awards.


Jennifer Maccarone Student Bursary

Member of Quebec’s National Assembly for Westmount—Saint-Louis, Jennifer Maccarone is offering this bursary to students residing in the riding of Westmount—Saint-Louis. Two bursaries will be allocated to college students. Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.


Jewish Community Foundation Scholarships

JCF offers numerous scholarships. The families who have established these scholarships want to provide this aid to students who merit this opportunity based on their academic performance, community involvement or need of financial support. People of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome to apply.


Makivik Scholarship Fund

Scholarship for Inuit students who have been a resident of Nunavik for at least the 10 previous years.


Quebec Black Medical Association

Fund grants for Black students from deprived economic or cultural backgrounds to pursue studies in the medical sciences; and provide grants to black students who have demonstrated leadership, past or potential academic achievements, community or extra-curricular involvement, allowing them to pursue studies in the medical sciences.


RBC Future Launch Scholarship for Indigenous Youth

The RBC Future Launch Scholarships for Indigenous Youth will award 20 scholarships annually for up to four years to First Nations, Inuit and Metis students across Canada, who demonstrate strong academic performance and community involvement.


Rev. Dr. Charles H. Este Scholarship and Bursary Fund

Eligible students must have on-going contribution(s) to the Black Community. For members of the Black Community who are members or friends of the Union United Church. Applicants must be a full-time student and have a satisfactory academic record.


TC Energy Indigenous Legacy Scholarship

TC Energy offers a²ÔÌýIndigenous Legacy Scholarship to support Indigenous students (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, Native American, or Non-Status) pursuing a full-time post-secondary program at an accredited educational institution.


TD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples

Students from the Indigenous community face unique challenges and systemic barriers that can make getting a post-secondary education difficult. So, TD worked closely with AFOA Canada to build a scholarship program that helps meets the unique needs of students from the Indigenous community. Regardless of your field of study, scholarships are open to First Nation, Metis and Inuit who are members / citizen of a First Nation, Metis or Inuit community who have applied for a full-time minimum 2-year program with an approved post-secondary institution for the next year of study; or are enrolled in, or accepted to, a full-time minimum two-year program with an approved post-secondary institution for the next year of study.


United Irish Societies Scholarship

The United Irish Societies of Montreal Scholarship was created in 2019 by Lori Morrison, the UIS Communications Chairperson, and is being funded by both Lori and her sister Kayra Morrison. This Scholarship will be given to a selected outstanding young person between the ages of 18-25 within Montreal’s Irish Community.


WIBCA Scholarship Awards

Offered by the West Island Black Community Association, these awards are dedicated to supporting and promoting the achievement and academic excellence of Black students. It is also important to support Indigenous students and other students of color who have shown a commitment and dedication to supporting the Black community. To be eligible for these awards, students must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and a bona fide resident of the Greater Montreal Area.
