Program Description

The growth of both local and wide area networks requires trained certified network personnel. The Preparation for Microsoft Certification Program focuses on commonly accepted client and networking operating systems and related equipment. The network administrator plans, designs, implements and administers the essential business systems. Students will be employed as PC support specialists and as network administrators. Due to the shortage of trained personnel, current employment opportunities are excellent.

Audience

This program is designed for adults with basic computer software and hardware knowledge who wish to enter or further their careers in the Information Technology field. Specifically, it targets individuals who want entry-level Microsoft Client and Server Certifications.

Goal

The Preparation for Microsoft Certification Program is designed for students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary in preparation for the industry exams to obtain Microsoft Client and Server Certifications. Program provides training for the following industry certifications:

  • Microsoft Server Certification.
  • Microsoft Client Certification.
  • Microsoft Email Server Certification.
  • Microsoft Security Certification.

Exit Profile

Graduates of this program will be able to:

  • manage hardware and software related problems.
  • implement network solutions in small to medium-size organizations.
  • analyze and implement network security requirements.
